Methods and Madness

Sometimes I paint fast and loose

Other times quite controlled

The subject decides the method

But each work has the same goal:

A painting that is successful

And beautiful to behold!

Glassy Brass Watercolors by Daily Painter Bertie Brown

Glassy Eye
original watercolor/horn: 6" x 9"

Glassy Brass/Trumpet

Glassy Brass/Horn
original watercolor/horn: 4" x 7"
Going Solo
The horn stands alone
Neither lost nor forlorn
Just a confident fellow
Shiny outside
Inside, mellow
Its song is quite melodious
With notes that soar
But can be somewhat odious
When notes don’t sound so sure
One thing is certain
With a rising stage curtain
The horn likes to play
The solos he’s given
In a most excellent way!
