while summer bathed
in translucent honey haze
autumn arrives
with transparent amber days
indigo nights
blanket lofty star-filled skies
as cooler winds collide
pushing summer’s heat aside
from translucent to transparent
these transitions are apparent
seasons come and seasons go
each with it’s own unique show
