Methods and Madness

Sometimes I paint fast and loose

Other times quite controlled

The subject decides the method

But each work has the same goal:

A painting that is successful

And beautiful to behold!

Musically Adept/Guitars, Piano - Watercolors by Daily Painter Bertie Brown

Musically Adept/Guitars, Piano

original musical motif watercolor: 7" x 11"

Sophie and I know

that sometimes it’s best

to simply allow

a painting to rest

it may not be done

though there are intense

and beautiful hues

that seem to make sense...

so we must ensure

the painting’s success

this work must secure

it’s soulful-ishness
