Cor-onation Watercolors by Bertie Brown
Cor-onation
original watercolor still life w/horn, glass, vase, marble: 18" x 22"
the piano-forte
is high on my list
of things i should try
before i am missed
but how in the world
could my fingers and toes
work all of those keys
and pedals of gold???
i can’t even think
of reading bass clef
‘cause treble takes all
the brains i’ve got left
so maybe i’ll just
be happy that i
was suitably good
playing horn while i could

Apple Cor Watercolors by Bertie Brown
Apple Cor
original watercolor still life w/horn, glass vases: 13" x 16"
Practice makes better
But perfect?
Not ever...
Especially if horn playing
Is what you can do
You’ll prob’ly improve
But that’s questionable, too
My advice to you
Buy a French Horn Kazoo!
