my golden girls
have gathered to rally
around my backyard
sunflower alley
bending down to admire
all the work they inspired
“ooh yes, i see
that one looks like me!”
they nod and agree
in total unity
“remember back in the day
we had our young
and frivolous ways
we listened to bee-bop
while catching sun-drops
"those were the days, my friend
we thought they'd never end”
