Welcome to my blog where you can view a sampling of my watercolor paintings and discover why for me, Art Is Instrumental. These, as well as many more in my studio, are for sale and looking for good homes!

Methods and Madness

Sometimes I paint fast and loose

Other times quite controlled

The subject decides the method

But each work has the same goal:

A painting that is successful

And beautiful to behold!

One Box or Two

original watercolor still life w/strawberries: 7" x 7"

Sophie loves these

of course, I agree

they’re tops on our list

of fruits that we miss

it’s that time of year

with spring oh so near

when we go to shop

it’s berries we spot

as we enter in

a ‘Bonus Buy’ bin

with berries galore

bid Welcome, for sure!

we know it’s a trap

of course we know that

but what can we do

buy one box...then two!
