All bluster and bluff

With towering tides

Always in a huff

Race toward shore

Biting the beach

With a low rumbling roar

The sighing sands

Surrender their turf

While tall dancing dunes

Watch over the surf

Their beach bonnets swaying

And “No Trespassing” signs waving...

All sandy toes

And sun tanned nose

Watching blue-green tides

Under warm sunny skies

Spill shells on the sand

As she claps her tiny hands

And gives a joyous shriek

When the waves tickle her feet!
