Methods and Madness

Sometimes I paint fast and loose

Other times quite controlled

The subject decides the method

But each work has the same goal:

A painting that is successful

And beautiful to behold!

Sophie's Stuff Watercolor Still Life by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Bertie Brown - Art is Instrumetnal

Sophie's Stuff

original watercolor still life: 18"w x 17"h

Hey there Sophie

What can we say

Of this painting

That is waiting

For a clever

Word endeavor

Tying everything together to the letter

We’ve got crayons

In the foreground

And a pig bank

That is quite round

There’s a tall glass

Where some fruit spar

And some marbles in a jar so they don’t roam far

Not to mention

All those daisies

This bright table

Where the fabric

Folds and colors

Help relate our playthings all to one another
