Grassy green grass
Prickles and tickles
Sophie’s pink piggies
All wiggly and squiggly
Babbling birdie birds
Chirp quirky birdie words
Buzzing bees fly
By Sophie’s blue eyes
Daffodils gaze
Tulips parade
My poppies sing praise
Springtime, nature’s fling-time
“Neath a shy smiling sun
Nature’s prelude
To the deluge 
Of sunny flowers soon to come...
