the weather outside

‘cause one day it’s mild

and pleasant - it’s wild

'cause next day’s so cold

there’s frost on my nose

the furnace is running

it seems ‘round the block

while i sit here humming

the ‘icelandic rock’

so where did it go

that mild weather cheer

did it show up this year

did i miss it, i fear

i’m sportin’ enough

sweaters and stuff
