snow piles a’mountin’
3 feet and countin’
i gotta shovel
my back’s in trouble

old man winter
it just keeps hangin’ around......

it’s really okay
to chill out and play
we all know we should
(that is understood)
but still we forget
and totally get
ourselves in fun debt
we think if we could
buy us some fun
then surely we would
feel wonderf’ly good

Sophie and I
Were shopping for clues
What could we possibly
Paint that is new
We passed by the eggplants
With nary a glance
We’ve done them before
Those red beets next door
Were also a boor
But then Sophie spied
From the corner of her eye
Some flowers in a bunch
And she had a hunch
Their blooms were so busy
Dancing this way and that
She said we should paint them
And work really fast!
We finished the painting
Our energy waning
We needed our nap
And knew it was time
To end this short rhyme!
