what ho!
i just want to know
where did the years go
and my body….also
oh
back in the day
i simply must say
hard work had a way
of keeping at bay
those inches that stay
in places that…hey!
i don’t like today
i’m feeling betrayed
hence this, my tirade
i cannot evade
old age, i’m afraid
this is my refrain
you’re young…i’ll explain
the fact does remain
it’s HARD to maintain…
