that must be my fate
as many a day
I make myself wait
for Grandies to take
their good ole sweet time
to co-oper-ate
and since there are three
I think you’ll agree
that this stage might be
a long wait indeed
seems they’ve gotten clever
with their play endeavors
they all love to dump
their toys in a clump
the fact is it’s fun
for them when I say
I’ve had quite enough
of tripping on stuff
I’m beginning, you see
to remember those days
when my boys, all three
behaved this same way!
now I might admit
I sometimes get miffed
but Grandies indeed
are the Bees’ Knees in Threes!
