it’s FREEZIN’ outside
‘cause what is it now
‘bout 20 below??
we don’t have enough
closets of coats
to keep out the chill
of this winter’s huff
and wind, I declare
is pushin’ the bounds
of stayin’ beyond
good manners, I swear!
so Sophie and I
surrender, okay?
we’re takin’ a break
from runnin’ out there.....
yet maybe there’s hope
the temps just might rise
the winds could depart
we’ll put on our shoes
and lay down some smoke!
