there's nothin i'm see-in

that gives hope or reason

to think this plagued season

is gonna be leavin'

it's certainly sure

there's more to endure

but BeGe’s Bees Knees

will beat those Chinese

they’ll grow strong and thrive

under our watchful eyes

‘cause they’ve got great genes

obviously!

myself much confined

by ideas gone wrong

what took me so long

to finally say

that’s enough now, okay...

but sometimes it’s fun

to do more than one

‘cause maybe I’ll learn

to finally discern

the good and the bad

to discount a fad

and find that rare link

that was missing, I think......

 twas the night before “Stella”

and all through the land

the creatures were shopping

buying milk, bread and spam

the forecast rang true

that nor’easter barreled through

and those inches of snow

gave us all lots to do

so today as I search

for some good stuff to eat

finding bread, milk and ‘meat’

doesn’t sound like a treat

so the next time they cry

“Snowstorm’s Comin’ ”, i’ll buy

donuts, popcorn, french fries

 sparkling wine and moon pies….

Looking over his subjects

In the rows down below

But those Winds never tow

As they do rightly know

That they have the means

To keep the pitch low

The Strings try to show

Their dominance, don’t ya know

While sitting at the toes

Of the Maestro’s looming pose... 

Now a wise conductor knows

The music and musicians

Are the stars of his show
